


- Dr. Wroblewski and Dr. Salau collaborated at the aihwa dedicated Eye Clinic in Nigeria. Dr. Salau, a board-certified ophthalmologist from Kaduna, is committed to conducting retina clinics every 4 to 6 weeks.
- Numerous religious clergy and individuals from all walks of life travel across Nigeria to access state-of-the-art eye care services.
- Dr. Marie Carolle Annie Banville worked diligently to perform comprehensive medical evaluations and successfully diagnosed and treated dozens of patients suffering from prolonged malaria.



Over the past six months, donations to Retina Care International have enabled the purchase of two slit lamps, two ophthalmic exam chairs, a gonioscopy prism, and a B-scan ophthalmic ultrasound unit. We remain hopeful that future funding will support the acquisition of a state-of-the-art OCT machine.



Monthly Intravetrial injections has been establish to treat diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vein disorders.



A Diabetic Retinopathy Symposium was held, attended by 78 optometrists from across Nigeria. Drs. Wroblewski, Marie Carolle Annie Banville, and Salau delivered presentations, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the new eye clinic.
